Lateral Damp

This issue is seen in below ground walls often built with no cavity such as solid brick walls or blockwork walls. Where possible we will access the positive / external side of the wall and install drainage & waterproof membranes as needed.

Often this is not possible given accessibility so the internal side of the wall is the only option. In such cases we use epoxy negative tanking membrane and rubberised cement based membranes. This is often seen in lower ground floor house conversions, garage walls & garden retaining walls.
